The Berliners- March 2024

Within “The Berliners” exhibition, my focus rests on Méret Oppenheim, an artist whose work delves into the realm of feminism and gender equality. Oppenheim’s exploration challenges societal norms and confronts the complexities of gender identity and patriarchal structures.

Inspired by Oppenheim’s courage, I employ an X-ray image to reveal the shared humanity between man and woman, transcending superficial differences. Through this artistic endeavor, I aim to provoke thought and encourage reflection on the fluidity of gender and the importance of equality.

Oppenheim’s legacy serves as a reminder to question established norms and embrace diversity. In honoring her vision, I invite viewers to reconsider their perceptions and strive for a more inclusive society.
